Para alegria de muitos, a empresa taiwanesa está prometendo disponibilizar o Pie para os seus dispositivos intermediários Zenfone Max Pro M2, M1 e o flagship 5Z entre os meses de janeiro e fevereiro. A ordem cronológica de recebimento do Android Pie vai ser dividida da seguinte forma os aparelhos Max Pro M2 e Zenfone 5Z vão receber a renovação de sistema em janeiro, possivelmente na mesma época da CES 2019, já o Max Pro M1 vai ter o seu Android atualizado no mês de fevereiro, o que deve ocorrer durante a MWC 2019.
